The finance part is true, I trade currency at a bank – I promise it sounds more complicated than it is. I love food, but it’s more than just that. Food brings people together, celebrates diversity, defines cultures, and even captures memories. Remember those dumplings in that one restaurant at the end of the street on the left you found that one long summer in Beijing? Or sharing tapas with the locals in Spain? I could go on and on, but you get the gist we all have these stories.
I initially started Chela’s Kitchen to capture my journey to delicious and healthy eating, but over time it has transformed into so much more. Part of getting to know San Francisco has been exploring all of the amazing food it has to offer, and for fun I started putting together restaurant reviews as a creative outlet.
